I would like to send our deepest condolences to your family. I worked with Bob for several years at the Christina School District, until his retirement. When I started with the district, he brought me into the "fold" and showed me "ropes". He always treated me with respect and made our time in the shop more "bearable". I'm sorry I was unable to attend the service, but only a LIMITED number of employees were allowed to leave for the service. He was a great man and will be missed by MANY.
God Bless,

I will truly miss checking to see if "Chicken" is at home or out in the yard and beeping my horn at him as I drive past his house on Terminal Avenue. Many Blessings to his soul and his family members. "Chicken", you will be sadly missed.

To the entire Ross Family, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my good friend Bob,as I called him. I worked with Bob for many years and he was such a joy to be around. He kept us laughing all the time, and I joked with him about tow truck driving. He will be missed.May you find comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Tearfully Submitted

I grew up around Mr.Ross. My mother and him worked for the same company. He was an awsome man and I enjoyed visiting him. Although, I was afraid of his dog at the time. Eventhough I love him like an Uncle. I also lost my father in May. I would love to attend the services but right now it's too hard for me to view another loved person in resting. I send my prayers and love.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Chicken's passing. I met him as a teenager when I visited my sister and brother-in-law. I always found him to be kind, patient and extremely humorous. I thank God for a life well-lived and I am grateful that my life was touched by this wonderful man. I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will comfort you in your sadness.

To my dear freind, Dudley or Daddy Bob as I called him, I have known you since I was 16 and our district was at that time Newark School District, I love you dearly you have listened to me over the years and watch me grow up saw me through a lot of bad times and good--especially breaking down in my busses every day. To your family and friends there will be a big whole in your hearts because Dudley was the glue,he told it like it is . Bob loved his family and loved going home in July to West Virgina. He will be so missed. And I am honored to have known and loved him all these years. My prayers are with his family, and to those of us that loved and respected him. My condolences to the Ross Family,

During this time of great sorrow, may it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. I too know the pain of losing someone dear. Even though our hearts are broken, rest assure that our Grand Creator cares about you personally (1Peter5:7) and can help you though this difficult time.
Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time soon when God will do away with death forever. There will be no more sorrow, heartache, or pain. May your happy memories and sure scriptural hope comfort your hearts during this painful time.

Condolences to Bob's Delaware and West Virginia families.

My friendship with Bob spans over 25 yerars, when I began working in the former Newark School District.

Bob's zest for life, his ready smile and laughter always made being around him a joy.

I will truly miss him.
