Faye, Ron and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember how Nan Nan loved to tell the story of me bringing mud pies to her when I was a child. Her peach cobbler was second to none. We do not sorrow as the world for we know she has gone from labor to reward. Take comfort in knowing you will see her again and she will always be in your hearts. She will always be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

To Sis. Faye and family- to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Nan Nan was a very special person to so many while she was here on earth. I appreciate the teachings of her and Pop Pop Rainey. Take comfort in knowing that God has everything in His control. She is now one of GOD'S angels singing praises in the kingdom. She finally got her wings. Take rest Mother Rainey. When we all get to Heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be, when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory.
Sending prayers of comfort--Missy

My dear friend Faye,
There is no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Weeping may endure for a night but JOY will come in the morning. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and my prayers at this time. Knowing you as I do I know that even though you may be grieving in the flesh, you are rejoicing in the Spirit, knowing that your mother is with the Lord. Will always be your friend and Sister in Christ..

Faye: Words cannot express the deepest sympathy I feel for you for the passing of your mother. She was a beautiful person and I remember so well how she carried herself and spoke with such dignity and grace.
She was an inspiration to many and I appreciate all the times she extended a word of advice.
May God comfort you and fill your days with many beautiful memories of both she and the late Rev. Ross B. Rainey.
God Bless you.

The loss of a loved one in death can be difficult to deal with. Lovingly though God has promised that he will resurrect our dear loved ones back to life. This promise is found at John 5:28, 29. I hope this scripture will bring you comfort during this time.
